Sustainable. Ethical.
Responsible.

Trierra Festival is an annual event designed to connect the conscious consumer with a range of responsible brands, educational workshops, and lifestyle activations all in the spirit of doing better for the earth.

While the most obvious thing we can do for our planet is to consume less that’s simply not always feasible.

It’s human nature to consume, give and receive. However, we can choose to consume less, more mindfully and from businesses that are proactively ‘doing better’ and embracing sustainable initiatives.

This Earth Day, we want to unite as a community. To learn from others, engage in workshops and connect with likeminded people, while demonstrating our support for environmental protection.

The Earth Day movement

"Change starts with action. Better yet, an action that affects the world around you. A Billion Acts of Green are happening across the planet. From students in classrooms to organizers in their communities to officials in government there are ways for anyone of any background to make a difference. Start small and go big — or start big and stay big. Either way, keep coming back, keep taking action and join the movement to change the world."

FAQs

Great question! Our aim is for Trierra’s Earth Day Festival to achieve the following:

  • Connect conscious consumers with responsible businesses they may not have been aware of.
  • To encourage participation in educational workshops and activations for both children and adults.
  • To come together as a community to acknowledge and celebrate the earth.
  • To create general awareness around small acts we as individuals can do to create impactful change.
  • To create community-wide conversation about the earth.
  • To connect likeminded businesses with one another.

This is not just another market. It’s a festival that acknowledges and celebrates the earth and raises money and awareness for the environmental movement.

By being a part of this festival, you can lead with your values and demonstrate your dedication to ‘doing better’.

You will also have the opportunity to connect with aligned businesses.

We’ve seen some amazing collaborations stem from ethical projects we’ve developed previously, and these kinds of partnerships can have both meaningful and financial benefit.

If you’re interested in becoming a stall holder this year or are interested in future festivals, please fill in the form below.

By sponsoring this event, you can demonstrate your values and commitment to the earth through targeted and meaningful exposure.

In a time of climate concern and increased financial pressure, consumers are more than ever considering their purchases and investment power. As a business, leading with your values and demonstrating a social conscious can help to attract and retain a loyal customer base.

Our Earth Day Festival is a fun and engaging way to celebrate the earth and demonstrate your support for environmental protection. This all-ages, family-friendly event is a great way to learn and connect with ethical and environmentally friendly brands and enjoy relevant workshops and activations.

If you’re passionate about the environment and keen to get involved, we’re looking for volunteers! Simply send an email noting your interest to hello@oraco.com.au.

All attendees are asked to make a gold coin donation upon entry. Our partner agency, Oraco, will match the amount raised with all proceeds going to earthday.org.

We’re also running a series of raffles featuring prizes kindly donated by a range of businesses. All proceeds from this raffle will be donated to earthday.org.

We encourage everyone to bring:

  • Reusable bags, drink bottles, cutlery and containers
  • Sunscreen
  • A hat
  • A picnic rug if you’d like to enjoy the outdoor portion of the festival

We’re working with all our stallholders to encourage each one to be plastic free.

While we are encouraging everyone to be plastic free, we’re not explicitly banning plastic in 2023. However, we plan to make our 2024 event 100% plastic-free.

There are both outdoors and indoors portions of this event. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor portion. Please remember to bring your eco-friendly poop bags!

Yes! Absolutely, this is a family-friendly event. There will be a range of workshops for children too.
